That is why we do not offer a standard bookkeeping package. We tailor our services to meet your requirements. We can do as little or as much of your bookkeeping as you want us to do.

Cost effective solutions

We are not accountants and therefore we concentrate solely on your bookkeeping. Because we are not accountants we will not burden you with complicated advice, and of course, in comparison, our rates are cost effective too!

Bookkeeping
Owning and running a business is time consuming and yes you may be able to do both but the benefit’s of allowing us to do this for you will help you concentrate on what you do and love.

By allowing us to take this burden away from you is that as an external bookkeeper we have nothing to do with your business, but gives you a clear insight of your business financial position.

VAT Accounts
Does your business claim VAT or looking to get registered for VAT? If the answer is YES.
As well as ensuring your business is MTD ready (Making Tax Digital) and by allowing us to take care of this for you.

We can ensure your VAT information to be accurately calculated and submitted to HMRC of however you have chosen to have returns accessed and sent, monthly or quarterly.

Bank Reconciliations / Cash Flow
With the saying “Cash is King” when it comes to business, maintaining your cash flow is important and with this, we can provide a service in monitoring your cash flow and maintaining bank reconciliation to check your ins and outs and let you know of any miscellaneous transactions. We can also provide cash flow projection based on what you have planned is going in or out. Especially if you offer terms to customers and suppliers. This allows you to know your cash position and what is due to you and what you owe.
Control Accounts
Control Accounts are used to summarise the balances of different subsidiary accounts falling under the same category of accounts, in other word they are used to minimise the clutter of each and every account and its sub account.

The software we use allows us to maintain this and let us provide specific reports such as Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets etc to show how healthy your business is.

Self Assessment Tax Return
Are you Self-Employed or a Sole trader or in a Partnership?

If the answer is YES to the above you are legally required to complete and submit a Self Assessment Tax return to HMRC by 31st January every year.

We are able to produce an Income and Expenditure report for your tax period 6th April to 5th April.  This report will be used for your year end accounts which will outlines all your Sales income and Expenditure (Allowable).

We will work out your tax liabilities and advice you what is owed to HMRC and when this is due.

Finally we will submit your Self Assessment Tax return online with HRMC.

Payroll Services
As well as running your own business, if you are employing staff or plan to employ them you could allow us to take this responsibility off your hands to ensure you pay your staff correctly and on time. We use a cloud-based software from one of our partners that allows us to record all PAYE processes and RTI Submissions directly to HMRC.
Trial Balances
We can take care of all your bookkeeping needs up to trial balance whereby we can prepare a trial balance and detect any mathematical errors that have occurred. If you are a limited company we can assist in preparation of your trial balance and send to your accountant to complete your company tax return.
Sales Ledgers
Your Sales Ledger is your record of your Sales to date, this shows whether or not you have received the money, and how much is stilled owed. We can assist you in looking after your Sales Ledegr whereby we can issue sales invoices/ Credit Notes and allocate payment to customer accounts from monies received. We also let you know what is owed to you and even chase on your behalf if needed.
Purchase Ledgers
We are happy to maintain and take control of your Purchase Ledger for you. We can raise POs, enter and allocate invoices to your system and identify when payments need to be made.
